Subiaco is one of Perth’s premium inner-city suburbs with 100+ bars, restaurants and cafes, gourmet food retailers, icecreameries and plenty of shopping. The train station is in the heart of the city, an easy 10 minute walk from Kings Park and 20 minute walk from the CBD. The Saturday markets are some of Perth’s best. You can peruse the galleries or catch a show at the Subiaco Arts Centre or the Regal Theatre. There’s always plenty on.

The Yirra Yaakin Vignette Series is a collection of some of the best short scripts written and developed as part of the Yirra Yaakin Metro Writers’ Group 2020 and 2021. Originally delivered as readings at Yirra Yaarnz and now compiled and put into production for your enjoyment. Acted and directed by some of Perth’s most exciting, up and coming First Nations artists that hold the future of theatre in their hands! This is a show you don’t want to miss!

'My Fair Lady' by Lerner and Loewe tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor who is determined to transform her into his idea of a “proper lady.” Travel on this journey of transformation to find out who is really transformed with numbers such as Wouldn’t it be Luverly, The Rain in Spain, Get Me To The Church on Time, and the stunning Ascot Gavotte along with many others. Curate and Djinda Boodja will be in-residence at the Gallery, Subiaco Arts Centre, thanks to their support of the festival; however, from others expressing their interest in arts and culture in the City, we are inviting local businesses and artists to join us in creating an arts and activity trail. Locals are invited to host an event, invite visitors for a tour of their workshop, studio or business, cultivate a special drink or food offering, or more!
